Shetland Transport is a freight haulage company based in Shetland with depots in Aberdeen and Coatbridge on the outskirts of Glasgow. We operate a daily service from all three depots, and we have a ferry sailing to and from Shetland through Aberdeen on a daily basis
Shetland Transport can offer you the services of a fleet of modern road vehicles that are highly versatile that can support a wide variety of customers needs. Our varied range of trailers are mostly temperature controlled 40 foot containers. We also have flat beds and curtain sides, as well as other options. Since our modest beginnings in 1983 with just three trucks and five trailers, we now have 28 trucks and 65 trailers, and we ship goods all over the UK mainland as well as all over the European continent.
Our freight haulage logistics service involves general freight. We can easily handle everything from the complicated freight shipment of large and heavy bulk loads, all the way down to small personal packages. We offer a distribution service in temperature controlled environments, as well as the transportation of hazardous materials, all with the full and required documentation.

And because return loads help to keep our transportation costs down, we can also arrange to collect goods and freight of all kinds for UK or Shetland delivery as well.
